We are delighted to be joined by Professor Kassim Javaid, a consultant rheumatologist and researcher from Oxford University Hospitals trust and University of Oxford. His research areas are in epidemiology and adult metabolic bone disease focusing vitamin D, osteoporosis, secondary fracture prevention and rare bone diseases. This will be followed by a review of the conservative management of VFF, which will be led by Mike Carpenter. Mike is a Consultant Physiotherapist and works across a number of community MSK services, as Head of Clinical Delivery for Cora Health. He will look to explore concepts of patient engagement and adherence related to specific spinal rehabilitation in the context of VFF.
